Community Rights for Colorado's North Fork Valley

The mission of North Fork Valley Community Rights Advocates (NFVCRA) is to cultivate a safe, healthy environment for all North Fork Valley residents by protecting our community's rights to clean air, water, soil and food. We educate and advocate for non-partisan self-determination, economic resilience and energy innovation free from corporate interference.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We educate and empower the North Fork Valley community in asserting and defending its rights. We should have the ability to create local laws that ban pesticide spraying, plastic bag consumption, formula stores like Dollar General, concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs), or fracking the watershed, for example. But many such ordinances violate state pre-emption and corporations' commerce rights. We have a democracy problem. Join us in our grassroots movement to define and defend local rights!
